‘Maybe tomorrow will not exist, but it might as well.’ (2023)

I lay still as I breathe. I exist at the end of the world and even after. Sit or lay still and feel your chest expand then collapsing, imploding and expanding again. Breathing and filling the space with us. ‘’As I breathe, I hope’’ And with you close, I can build on that, we can grow more of that. I gain so much from your closeness, I love you and day by day you and I are imploding and expanding more, we make more of us. You can’t be unmade.

Maybe tomorrow will not exist, but it might as well…

This 4 meters tall puppet cuddled up to a home-blanket encapsulates Ro’s work. Almost a symbol of themself, they took a blanket that’s been with them since childhood and repaired it and covered it with words of love and hope and homes, a thank you to what has brought them comfort so many times over. You are invited to touch, caress, lie on, and cuddle up with this puppet, let it comfort you and allow yourself to find this softness and relief within yourself.
